For the past two years I have been
teaching English in Sweden. I work for a small, private language school
about half time, teach evening classes at Medborgarskolan in Örebro, and
also edit texts that have been translated from Swedish to English.
Before that, for more than 14 years, I
was an Advocate in Canada. I represented unions, associations, groups
and individuals before government and other administrative law boards. I
was Vice-Chairman of a final level, provincial appeal board as well as a
member of various community based boards and panels. A great deal of my
time was spent teaching others how to do the work I did.
I have studied philosophy and
comparative religion at a university level, taken many courses dealing
with communications and the media and was once qualified to teach
Internet research - way back in the days of Archie, Veronica and Gopher
searches.
Because I am familiar with the
Internet, I do not want to post too many details here, but I would be
more than happy to forward a full CV to anyone with a genuine interest. |
